Pievargentata is a newly-built structure made from local, hand-worked stone, featuring all the typical characteristics of an old-time Tuscan farmhouse.
It is located just outside the small village of Pievescola, in the middle of the Sienese hills, 150 metres from the renowned Villa La Suvera, a former noble residence transformed into a 5-star hotel and restaurant.
The villa stands in the countryside, among silver olive-trees that surround the holiday house, its garden and the swimming-pool (10x5 metres).
Looking at the panorama, we notice in the vicinity some beautiful green hills, luxuriant with ilex groves and chestnut woods which can be toured on foot or by mountain-bike thanks to the numerous trekking trails.
Although divided into 3 apartments, each with independent access, the villa is offered as single unit to larger parties looking for privacy.
Ideally situated for visiting the most renowned historical and art centres in Tuscany as well as many other smaller characteristic villages in the Chianti region, and within easy reach of the "Siena - Florence" dual carriageway (18 km).
The small village of Pievescola (500 meters) is within walking distance, and provide some essential services like a food shop, two bars, 2 restaurants, post office, hairdresser, etc., whilst in the close town of Colle val d’Elsa ( 15 km) guest can find all kinds of facilities including supermarkets, tennis, horse-riding and a golf course.
