This charming holiday home is situated in the heart of the Chianti Classico area approx. 25 km from Florence.
The property, an ancient farmhouse, is completely enclosed and immersed in a magic countryside with wine yards and olive groves producing the world famous Chianti wine and olive oil.
Internally is the house very cozy and provided with all modern comforts such as central heating, sat. television, dish washer & washing machine, whilst outside there is a private furnished garden (2.000 m2), completely enclosed and accessible via an automatic gate.
A small wing of the house situated at the opposite end of the building, with own access and outdoor area, is occupied by a middle aged lady, very discrete and polite, who is in no way limiting the total guests’ privacy.
Within walking distance (250 meters) lies a tiny hamlet with a church, a bar and a restaurant serving local specialities.
San Donato in Poggio, a characteristic mediaeval hilltop village offering various shops, restaurants, supermarket, bank, tennis courts, etc., is approx. 1500 meters away.
A public swimming pool is to be found in the nearby village of Sambuca 6 km).
The property lies about 25 km from Florence and 35 from Siena and is a good starting-point for quick trips to the art cities and to the best sights in Chianti (The Firenze-Siena toll free motorway runs just 7 km away).
